Vladimir OLEYNIK


February 3,  1936  - February 17, 1999.
Vladimir Oleynik was born in  1936 in the town of Dombarovskiy in Orenburg region (the Urals).
Upon graduating from a high school, worked as a radio specialist, an artist and a shooting range manager in a plane club in the town of Orsk in Orenburg region.
Graduated from the Perm State University Faculty of Law. Worked in the public prosecution office of Kyrgyzstan.
In 1990 Oleynik had been elected a people's deputy of Russia. Was a member of the Supreme Council of Russia. Participated in drafting a number of legislative acts, including laws on freedom of worship and on charitable activities. Has been actively engaged in preparing legislative basis for reforming preliminary investigation and the judicial system in Russia.
Was a member of the Presidency of the Judges' Council of Russia.
Served as a Judge of the Constitutional Court from October 30, 1991 to February 17, 1999.
Lawyer Emeritus of the Russian Federation.
